This is a bit different, but I think it worked out pretty well, if I do say so myself.
I tried to replicate the Sandstone Formations in the Kalbarri National Park.
The first pic is the Formations in the flesh, 350million years old.
Next two pics are the wet clay, the colors were achieved with Iron oxide. Three colors and white/natural.
Last two are the end result, the firing process changed the colors.
