Has anyone used Kaizen foam from Fast Cap for pen storage or display?

Not for pens but for industrial use. You can spend a lot of time cutting out the shapes, though, and I'd think it'd be hard to make a bunch of cutouts that looked similar unless you made a die.
There's foam called "pick and pluck" (also goes by other names) that is pre-scored and you can pick out small cubes to make the cutouts.
