I have been hoarding this piece of bakelite and decided I had better put it to use. It started out I was just going to put a bakelite button in place of the gold button on the finial. I have removed a lot of these buttons with no problems, until this morning. Long story short when it was finally out, I discovered a scratch on the finial body. I am probably guilty of putting it there. Not a happy camper. Anyways, decided to do the hidden clip thing and see how it looked. Could be better, could be a lot worse. I am happy with the end result. I powder coated the tubes black because the last one I did like this sold fast for a lot. Now to see if this one will sell. All comments welcome and appreciated.

Go ahead and scratch them all if they come out like this one did:biggrin:. That is one eye catching pen. All that blig and then eye popping red to match it, WOW! I guess by now you figured out, I like your creation. Beautiful.
