I need help identifying this pen making accessory. Long story short, I tried my hand for a few pens after purchasing MANY pen kits from Pennstateind about 15+ years ago. Life got in the way and I quit... until now. I dug out the lathe and pen kits and found this in the box. It has to do with making pens as that and a few stopper kits were all I was about back then.
I've asked Penn State for help.. but no help so far. It's no longer in their catalog.. Hopefully, someone has been doing pens longer than 15 years and may be able to help me identify this critter.
The black end is fixed to the plate and the holes in the black end are the same size as the brass tubes for the pens. The three slots must have a purpose.. but they don't line up with the four holes
Thanks, Bill
