I am now licensed to sell items sporting Michigan State University's logo. We've been approved for pens, coasters, can coolers and ornaments.

Well done sir! I'm curious if there are there royalties or licensing fee for this? I live at Penn State and imagine it'd be near impossible to get such a blessing.

Please share how you got the hook up, I'm sure MANY of us would benefit of not having to reinvent the wheel.

The licensing fee was 100 dollars a year for a crafters license. I had to submit photos of finished products and they had to approve the logo. One I had, an older logo version, they didn't approve. I Think pretty much all colleges have licenses for crafters. They limit you to a dollar limit per year at this level of license. You should check it out to know for sure about Penn State.

Just go to the schools website and search up crafters license, now called community collect.

$100 for a year is not bad. Hope you do well, and get out there on that campus. Surely there will be a desire for your product. Just don't try to go sell them in Ohio. ;)
