I got tired of swapping collets.

I got sick of swapping between the 1/2" collet for the dead center and the 5/8" for the Nova chuck. The simple solution was to dig out some drill rod, mount the cross slide and turn down my own 5/8" dead center..

Dead simple to make but I am proud of it because it works so well.
