Hey everyone,

I had seen the Texas state quarter pen a while back and I thought I'd like to try something like that. I have the quarter already scrolled out and ready to go but I'm not sure how to go about the next few steps so I'm looking for advice. How do you bend the quarter uniformly without having a piece from the inner part jut out or completely snap? I am assuming I need to turn the blank down relatively far, attach the quarter, then cast clear resin around the whole blank. Does any of this sound correct? How should I attach the quarter? Epoxy? CA? Also, I was wondering if I should finish the blank like a normal pen (wet sand 1500-12000, novus 3,2,1) before attaching the quarter? I know I have a lot of questions but I look forward to finding the answers.

Thanks,
Alex
