I finally have some time to Pour some blanks. I am waiting for my Alumilite to show up, but in the meantime I have some "Elmers Fiberglass". The main component in it is Styrene Monomer. I am assuming that I will get what is referred to here as PS resin. Is that correct?

Does it turn well?
Can someone explain the difference in readily available resins or point me to an appropriate resource?

Thanks for the help!!!

A lot of the glassing resins are not clear or what they call water clear in color or the lack of. they tend to be yellow, amber to brownish and if not colored can turn darker with age. Can't help with your turning question as I never have turned any.

Make sure you color it with something. IIRC, from the only time we used it to glass a boat, it cured a hydrated pee color. Not too dark but definitely yellow.
