I have had several people ask about my buffing set-up. This morning I took a few pictures and added a page on my web site to show the jig:

The buffer was created by shortening the bed on my old Ryobi lathe. The jig consists of a piece of 1/2" all-thread mounted in a Jacobs chuck with a turned bearing holder at the tailstock end.
