I bought my lathe, a Jet mini-lathe, in April, from a friend who had too many other hobbies. I was hooked from the start, I've turned pens, bowls, magic wands for my niece and nephews and am starting on closed forms. I've joined a local turning club (-) which has been a tremendous resource (and taught me that some of the things I was doing were rather dangerous)
