HF 7X12

Have an opportunity to buy a HF 7X12 for $200 obo - supposedly only 15 minutes of use on machine - warranty still intact. Is it worth it?

With out knowing the actual condition of the lather it looks like a pretty good deal.

It happens, people buy one and then realize they have no interest in learning how to use it. Any tooling with it? Not that it matters at that price. But tooling is often a bigger chunk than the lathe. Especially in this case:biggrin: If it's in good shape it's a great price. Good luck.

I bought a HF drill press from a friend that came with the warranty. After making about 23 pens on it (that includes turning them), I took it back and upgraded. That it comes with a warranty is significant IMHO. Don't personally know much about metal lathes.
