Hi all! I have enjoyed woodworking as long as I can remember, but never had the chance to use a lathe. While watching youtube videos on the subject I stumbled across pen turning and have been hooked ever since. A couple months ago I pulled the trigger and bought my first lathe. I can't express how excited I am to have found this site!

There is a turning club in Syracuse that meets at the Fairgrounds each month. Their web site is cnywoodturners.org. The Syracuse club and the Club here in Rochester exchange newsletters each month and also notify each other about national turners we have presenting at our meetings. The clubs are a great source of information.
