This year for Valentine's Day I wanted to make
something in the workshop for gifts but got a bit of a late
start (ok, it was the night before :biggrin
. So, I decided to make a
few things on the scroll saw. I had some finished veneer
wood that someone had gifted me so I used that. I looked
in my scroll saw pattern book for some ideas and then got busy.
See below. The heart was for my wife and the teddy bear
for my daughter. My son came out into the workshop
while I was working, so I had to let him in on the surprise.
I asked him what he wanted and he said a pizza so I
made him one. On the back of each item is an inscription made
with a wood burnishing tool. I think I'm still on the hook
for dinner tonight, though.
