The names Robbie and I have been a member of the penturners UK forum since April which is when I started pen turning. Google has pointed me to conversations and articles on this forum a few times, so I thought I had better join!

I managed to find a well used small Jet lathe that was advertised on eBay. After a few failures and a few successes I became hooked and have been slowly improving since. Got myself a better lathe so I have no excuse now.

Looking forward to joining in the banter here and will hopefully be able to contribute something useful.

I'm a transplant from Salford, spent quite a lot of time in the Lake District with scouts, school field trips and such. And by coincidence, I got an email from an old school friend today who owns a B&B in Ambleside.
