Genesis blanks

Got some turning time in today....finally! I had some Genesis blanks from Woodturningz waiting for me. The first thing I made was a pencil for my son, for this I used the green and black "mutagenic" blank. Then I made a pen out of the "cobalt canyon" Genesis blank. The kit is the new "Phoenix" from....you guessed it, Woodturningz. The crappy photo does not do these pens justice at all. I really love the Phoenix and just may have to keep it for myself. Very nice pair. I like the Genesis blanks. I've also been looking at the Phoenix pen too. I can't decide if it is too flashy for me. But, it might be a good seller.

to me though, that pheonix kit looks kind of like a rollerball with its cap taken off....not sure im a fan...

I like the cobalt genesis blank. I've got an order coming from woodturningz with a phoenix to try. I can't decide if I like it or not. Maybe turning something for it will help me decide.
