Gast Vacuum Pump

Anyone ever heard of the Gast 0522-V9-G18D? I may be able to buy one, but I have not seen it yet, and the seller has no idea what it is. He said on the phone it also says Nuarc FW2. Does any of this mean anything to those with more experience?

I am trying to find the pump on the internet to see what it is before I drive an hour, don't want to waste my time.

Sounds like it might have been part of a graphic arts contact printer. You will need to be sure if it's a 115 or 220v motor to decide if you can run it at home.

Marc; The Gast model number is a code for the pumps capabilities and specs. You can find a breakdown on the Gast web site. Gast produces pumps for inclusion in equipment for specific manufacturers products in both medical and manufacturing fields. The model number may be specific to a particular OEM and if so, may not be publicized on the Gast site.
