So I got a shipment of "fun-size" (fancy slimline) kits in today, and wanted to turn make something from one of the kits right away...
Looked through the blanks pile and found a long-hidden piece of Australian Burl, decided green would look good with satin black hardware, and a few dye-CA-sand coats later, this is what I've got:
(Sorry about the poor pic, my new background seems to require a higher-wattage lighting solution.)
I seem to be having trouble with the CA finishes at the ends of the finished blanks - is there a secret to cleanly removing the bushings, or am I just using too much superglue?
