A couple of different designs used for grips on a fishing rod. The web is made of zebra wood and white oak, the tube is six sided and also of zebra wood. The petals are made of padauk and wenge.

The thread work on the web is made to look like black widows coming out of the grip. The petals are wrapped with roses.

Mark's been making these beautiful handles for a while now. I always look forward to what he'll come up with next. I do believe he sells the handles.

Thanks all for the kind words. I have been a lurker for quite a while and have found many great ideas on this site. I'm including a couple of diamond, chevron hybrids as well, one is on four axis's one is just a single axis. I do sell a few grips, but it seems that I'm always quite a way out on them. I work 50 hours a week and it doesn't leave much time for building grips. Lance thanks for the kind words, I have admired your work for quite a while.
