First for a while

Received an order for this pen a week ago.

The blank is Ancient Red River Gum, approximately 7000 years old. The finish is WOP, kit is a Jnr Victor and the box is polished timber. Both the kit and the box are from Timberbits. The blank came form an Aussie forum get to gether.

The pictures was taken with my new camera, a Canon 550D with a 10-22 wide angle lens.

I am no way out of the woods yet they are mainly playing with my medication. I have had a bad reaction to some of the new stuff. Just have to learn to take it easy.

This is my first run with the new camera and I seem to be have troubles had to tweak this one just to see the image.I had to shoot outside in the daylight to get the camera to fire. Guess I have a lot more learning to do with this beaut camera.
