I have been trying other things in my shop and picked up a book called Box by Box and made these. Nothing special just a couple from some scrap wood I had. The larger and lighter one with no lid is Beech and the other is a Mahogany with a Walnut lid. Nothing special just the first 2 I made from start. I used hardboard for the bottoms of both boxes and the splines are made with a home made jig I got from the book. Yrying to expand my knowledge and skills.

They look real nice. Funny thing; I'm flippin' thru projects on LJ's and there's this project "My First 2 Boxes" by Seer and I'm thinkin' that's odd--same name, similar boxes but better pictures.
So, I came back here to see what's what and here's the same pics.
I see lots of great boxes in your future.
