At least it is the first I am willing to show. :biggrin:

Purpleheart. Had a small breakout on the edge. My daughter suggested that I take the Dremel and round over and polish it to match. She thought the notch would make a good spoon rest.

Perfect. Had I not read the writing, I would've thought the spoon rest was planned, and I thought it was a good idea when I saw it. You went ahead and disclosed unneeded information lol.

Cav - Had a real chuckle at that method as that is my go-to first response

Nice bowl. Your daughter's idea was better than my "scream and throw things" method!

I use this method sometimes myself... also some unprintable phrases to help me feel better.. or as my grandfather used to say, I say my Sunday school lessons.


Nice bowl.. good save.
I like purpleheart, but it has an open grain that sometimes gives me problems.
