I have turned two Executive pens from PSI ... I sold one last night, and as I was showing the purchaser how to change out the refill, it wouldnt come out of the barell ....

Thought it was that assembly, but the other one I did is the same way, it unscrews just fine, but the refill seems to lodge itself in the barell.

they work just fine, in fact I have been using one for a few weeks now .... any ideas??

I've had that happen when the spring supporting the cartridge gets lodged between the cartridge and the body of the pen.

I have had a handful of these getting stuck things. It seems to me that there is a burr on or an almost microscopic projection on some of the newer refills. I've taken a pen vise and started fitting very small drill bits in the end of the nib and barely enlarging the hole until the refill slides in and out easily.

You can hold the pen vise at a slight angle to open up the hole gently. Or what I've done lately is use a rotary tool and bit to power out the obstruction.
