Jim the bowls are beautiful as is your first turning but I'm wondering what it is... Is it a small box or??? Your finish certainly enhances each of your turnings and highlights the wood's natural grain...very, very nice! Thanks for sharing and safe turning to you!!!

Cedar has been pissing me off lately but your bowl looks beautiful.

At least I ain't alone, and I sell a bunch of the stuff!
Tried turning a 9inch thick 15inch round 'cookie', and it split in everyway I never thought a piece of ERC could split! But the garage(and neighborhood) smelt great!!!!

What sort of finish did you use here Scott?
Sanding ERC can be quite a 'task' and I still see a few light scratches from sanding, so... You might want to go through a few more finer grits with cross sanding(my only C&C for ya).
