East Indian Rosewood burl?

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some East Indian Rosewood burl, or maybe just some highly figured crotchwood or something. I need something about 6x6", or if it is smaller, something I can resaw and bookmatch.

I have searched the internets a bit, and asked a few guys here, but no luck. I am casting the net a bit wider.

Try eBay. I just looked and there are a few pieces there.

Of course, if your choices are "East Indian Rosewood burl, or maybe just some highly figured crotchwood or something." then you can get off lots cheaper just looking for some figured crotchwood or almost any rosewood (cocobolo, kingwood, katalox, EIR, whatever).

Have you touched base with Nolan here on the site? He always has some marvelous wood.
