I have some branches that fell out of my pecan tree in my yard. There are limbs I have over to the side from the tree, well my curosity got the better of me. Most of what I cut up is spalted, some with worm holes, nothing too bad so far.

I tried attaching a photo, I will see if it worked.

I grabbed a limb from the pile that was about an in in diameter, and broke off 7 inches or so and turned it down, sanded it up and put a coat of friction polish on. It has good color, some spalting, on worm hole that I could probably get out if I went further. I like the varation of light brown and really light brown.

This is the one I turned down just to see how it looked. These are the same piece just different sides.
