Hey all,
There's a vacuum pump and desiccator for sale locally. The pump is 6cfm is 1/4hp. It's also good for 75 microns.
The desiccator is basically a big chamber used to draw moisture out of things. It's rated for 29.9" Hg at 24 hours.

Would this be a decent set to get started in stabilizing?

Thanks!

HP is irrelevant on vacuum pumps for stabilizing. The vacuum level is the only real important number. Your posts says it will pull 75 microns...that is enough for good stabilization.
