Custom Euro (shorter bottom barrel, omitted metal trim ring)When I make them the traditional way they don't fit in my shirt pocket..

Bloodwood, Birdseye Maple, Black veneer and Cocobolo. Ca/Blo finish

I did my fist demo Saturday at my local turning club..The topic for the day was segmenting and inlaying..I showed the steps for the glue up and turned one of the barrels for this cigar pen, Then showed my ca/blo finish. It was alot of fun

Harold, Both are very nice. Excellent job on segmenting.
I really like the first because of no trim in the middle, I like the wood on wood look.
I am sure the demo was great if the cigar was the finished product.
Once again outstanding work and thanks for sharing it with us.

Very nice looking segments! Love the colors on the Euro.

That's a really nice glow you got on 'your' CA/BLO finish! Careful, folks around here are going to start calling you Harold Gore! [:p]:D

Cant stop looking at those. A great job with the color contrasts and the veneer sets them off! I like the wood band idea on the first. Very Nice!
