Crooked Mill Magnetic Issues

I went looking for a less expensive Zen style kit. I got what I paid for. My hope is you will learn from my mistake.

First the nose cone on Amazon shows a smooth conical shape.

What I got was something with a pronounced rabbit/tenon

And then there are the plating issues. Sloppy, rough and too thick for the supplied tubes.

ID of the tube is smaller than the OD of the parts.
The result, when I went to press them together, busted blank.

So, I would not recommend these kits.

Have you called them?? I have turned over 50 of these magnetic pen kits and all have been perfect so far. Maybe just a glitch that can be easily solved.
