I bought some corncob holders from Penn State several years ago and the last of the plastic ones we had in the kitchen broke last week so SWMBO says, "You've got those corncob holder thingys, make some new ones."

They take 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3" blanks. That's bigger than any pen blanks I have.

Anybody made any?

What material did you use?
What finish?
And show us some pictures?

:)I have done quite a few. I have used wood and acrylic. My grandkids like the acrylic. You can get by with a smaller blank----maybe an inch or so diameter. I can't post any photos as I am in FL for the winter:) i think you would like them.
