I've just been give some corian scraps and wanted to try a couple of pens out of it. What is the procedure for working with this, mainly the finishing part?

Just my 2 pennys.
If turning Corian or other acrylic solid surface you can get away with using as heavy as 150 grit sand paper. This is handy if you just cannot get the ripples out of your piece. Then use 220 and then I use 400. I use Novus #2 fine scratch polish and that is all you really need. If you want to you can use the series of micro mesh. When using MM on plastics I prefer to use it wet. Use Novus polish after the MMOriginally posted by Sawdustier
