Contrast for Mahogany

Dear All,

I got a pretty good piece of mahogany recently and was cutting it up for bowls. One of the pieces is quartersawn but not real thick (12x12x2). I was thinking that I might add an accent rim to this bowl. Any votes for good woods to contrast the mahogany?

Maple


I make these baskets and my most popular seller is Mahagony and Maple by far. These happen to be Walnut and Maple.

Box elder burl is also pretty light in color, very pretty, easy to turn, and not terribly expensive.
