Sounds like a good time to give them a try ... Way too many color choices … I'm not sure where to start!

Does anyone know if the CS micas are all pearlescent, or if any of the colors are opaque? It's tough to tell just looking at their pictures. I want to cast some blanks that are just straight colors without all the sparkle. One of our "Master Casters" has already informed me that US Composites carries what I'm looking for, but would like to take advantage of the discount if they had them. I'm looking for a red, white, and blue to cast some cartridge pen blanks. Thanks.

mica is a type of ground stone that results in a shimmer, while they vary in shimmeriness, in my experience they all shimmer

Thanks for that information. I'm thinking I might try it with the mica powders and see how it turns out. I can always use the mica elsewhere if the results aren't what I'm looking for. Hey, it might look better with some "shimmer" than just opaque colors. Won't hurt to try.
