Okay, so I got my HF drilling setup (jacobs chuck and TI drill bits) on my borrowed Jet Mini. Drilling is great - once I figured out to reduce the speed fron 2850 rpm to 500 (boy, did that purpleheart sqeal! (And yes I know now that it was stupid and unsafe.[B)])

Here is the question, how do I get the other chuck unscrewed from the headstock?

Not sure about HF, but with my Jet lathe...there is an area at the headstock just before the threaded drive where you can insert a pin. That will lock the drive from rotating when you unscrew your chuck.

Thanks, Dario. I used the knock out bar in the hole and braced it against the tool rest, then put the chuck key in for leverage and it FINALLY came loose.[:I]

Thanks for taking the time to help a frustrated newbie!
