Love it. Nervous that a salsa or something might stain the inside of the bowl part? Even with a food safe seal, something like a salsa would be pretty acidic and might do some damage to that beautiful piece.

Looks awesome! I have wanted to make one but worry about putting dip in the middle. Will it soak in and/or stain it?

If you are worried about staining, food safty, etc. Why not turn the dip bowl so a small tupper ware (or simular) container will fit into the cup. That way you remove the tupper ware to be washed.

Glen the tray is beautiful the workmanship is fantastic thank you for sharing,
