Cherry bowl

Cherry bowl around 10" (25cm) in diameter finished with a Whey Protein based Polyurethane made from byproducts of cheese making. Part of a series of experiments with this new for me finish product.

Nice form. It's hard to tell that it's got any finish on it, but that's the first I've heard of the product you used. Did I mention it's a lovely form?

Thanks everyone.

Normally I struggle to avoid hot spots with high gloss finishes but this time I could not find a light setup that showed the gloss which is glass like.

Very nice bowl, I have had to be able to try turning any cherry, I will have to try and locate some if I can.

Here is a shot of the bottom where you can see the reflections of lights to see how glossy the finish is.
