Where is the best place ( cheapest) to buy the bullet that you use for the nib? I think I need 30 caliber.
Thanks for any help,
Mike

Any of the reloading vendors. I get mine from and I am having a mental block right now but I know it starts with Mid------ something or other. Have to do a search of my files. Will return.:)

I 2nd Midway. I've most often used the following:

"Hornady Bullets 30 Caliber (308 Diameter) 150 Grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail with Cannelure"

I turn the neck down, then melt out the core, then drill through the tip. Comes out nice, but the neck is very thin and takes some finesse to not break through.

Anyone have a better choice they've been using?

That's what I use also. I pick mine up at my local Bass Pro Shop.
