Just finished this. It is a blanket chest for my new nephew Alex, my sister's first kid (I'm going to request they don't have any more becase this was a pain in the butt to make!). :monkey::biggrin::)

Quarter sawn white oak, hand carved front panels. Mortis and tennon joinery. Bottom is cedar lined.

Based on the design found at www.tchisel.com and the #3 on-line project. Roughly modeled after 1670s Pilgrim chests.

That is beautiful and you did an excellent job on the carving. I am sure that when it is seen you will have a few more sisters (due to deliver or having just delivered) contact you that you never about. : )
