Beautiful Wood!

I am redoing the baseboards in my house since I am having the floors redone.
I ordered some poplar baseboards to cut and paint. There are some beautiful colors in this wood. I feel bad painting it!

Looks like you can get some nice slim line blanks from the scraps.

Most of that color changes with time like all colors in wood. Old poplar is all shades of beige, you won't see green and purple. Just a short enjoyment while it's fresh.
