Okay, so searching through the forums I've found this thread:

I was originally going to go for the 14" version but if I changed out my band saw for this bigger one I would be able to hold off for a little and get the table saw I want. I say this because I would be able to cut wood down to size with the more powerful band saw since I won't be building any furniture (other than a rocking horse - thanks for reminding me of google Chuck, I always forget to check them for plans). And besides the rocking horse will be built on base while I'm doing nothing between classes.
