Bad night of turning

I tried to do a Comfort twist and that went bad on both ends. While trying to cut the one end back for the rubber piece, it came loose from the tube. The other one just came out wrong. lol
Then I tried this wonderful blank. Hope I can save it this weekend. Tomorrow is another day stuff Happens!

Turn off the bad section and use a trim ring. No one will know that it was planned that way.
