Nice poof-sticks. I made a couple when I was learning to turn, actually just put a peice of wood on the lathe and it turned into a somewhat ornate, rough wand. Probably the first thing I turned actually, just messing around with my bosses lathe after work. That was about a year ago. My wife (who read all the Harry Potter books) has one in her car, every once in a while I pull it out and wave it at things and say "Poof!", she says "That's not a spell!", then I poof her and she gets mad. Hehe.

That's the very first thing I ever turned too, one for each of the spawn. They love them and still play with them from time to time. I sorta cringe when I see how uneven the coves and beads are, and the spur divots in the ends, but hey, the kids don't seem to mind. :)
