I just climbed up a coconut tree and got some FREE coconut juice:eek:...DON'T need no STINKING, OVERPRICED stuff from the mainland.:tongue:

Be honest, you were way up there trying to catch a glimpse of these amazing blanks wayyyyyy over here, huh?

We are currently at $300 and ready for the next step.

Just had to say, all I have to do is close my eyes for a moment, and I can see the finished pens I will make from these blanks!

Bye!

Thank you Shawn! We are now at $369

Who wants to offer the next set of GREAT numbers? I'm getting a $400 vibe.

3,6,9....the goose drank wine, the monkey chewed tobacco on the street car line, the line broke and the monkey got choked, and they all went to heaven in a little row boat, slap, slap

Nice one Shawn! $369 for The Penguin

I just noticed something.....the "penguin" is trying to take the "abalone" blanks to "cowboy" country....interesting.

We're at $369 for anyone else who is interested in taking the blanks on a worldwide tour~

Smitty !!!!! Thank you!

We have the same taste in art. We both admire pictures of past presidents printed on two-toned green paper.

We are at $400 ....

The artist and the collector come together! Thank you Ron and Smitty.

We are at $400 for this stunning set of Abalone blanks. Who is waiting in the wings to take us to $425?

Good Night ~

It looks like our bidders have been tucked in for the night except for the ones laying on a sun drenched beach.

Thank you to everyone who made day 1 of the Abalone auction exciting. Feel free to continue bidding.

The current bid stands at $400 from Smitty, Thank You!

We'll pick up the play-by-play again in the morning when everyone has a fresh set of bidding fingers ready to go.

Good night everyone~
Bob and Chuck~

Ron, are we looking at a second bonus here? Can we take advantage of Smitty's most excellent idea?

I think I can eat Ramon noodles and sell pens on the corner for a month to add my first IAP member pen to the collection. (I might be new around here, but I drank the Kool-Aid already)

Welcome everyone to Smitty's very famous family tree ! Thank you Smitty~

That takes us to $425

(By the way....Mr. Franklin called and wants to know why he wasn't invited~)

Who is out there looking to take us to $450?

Mr Hamilton would be insulted .... he thinks it takes the bid to $430.... Either that or you think Mr Jackson's likeness graces the non-existant 15 dollar bill.

Oooops, had your family members confused 'cuz I sure don't know them very well. They don't visit me often. I was thinking of Mr. Grant....he's the one who called. Someone please invtie him for us!

I would think it is Mr Grant (the only past president found in Smitty's family tree) would be the one feeling left out. He would be a rather distant 6th cousin twice removed. That means he would be a sixth cousin of my Grandfather.

...and none of them ever stick around my house to long, not even George!

So, who out there wants us to meet more of Smitty's family ?
