Apple Hollow Form. Around 7" (17 cm) tall. Finished with waterborne lacquer. Last of the apple wood supply. I've been working on getting a flared rim form right, and finally got one that I liked.

Super silky finish...almost looks wet! Awesome!!!

What kind of wall thickness am I looking at? Light shine through it?

I am using Target Coatings EM6000 Clear Gloss Waterborne Lacquer. It is applied with a conversion HVLP spray gun. It is milky looking in the jar, but cures water clear so it retains the base colors. I wanted to preserve the light color of the sap wood on the Apple.

This is around 3/16" wall thickness, not really thin at all. I have done some pieces that were 1/16 but since I was not planning to pierce the Apple, I left it a moderate thickness.
