Don't you mean, think of the size pens you could make with it.:biggrin: You'd need an even bigger lathe, if you used that to make TBC bushings.

I wonder if Rick Herrell will make me a 1" post with a 40' tool rest? He says he makes any size tool rest for $10 (+$5 more for over 9"). Oh yeah, the height of the post should be 11'.
