Hello folks
here's a new yew form loosely based upon an egg type shape-with influence's from the American style tucked under bottom as well!!

Yew 7"tall by 6"wide

Add a before picture

It is hard to find the up or down. It might be neat to have an oriented before and after picture with the original log.

Very pretty wood, good turn

That should have been a "bear" to turn inside (hollowing), with a throat that small, only quality turners with quality tools can get that so, well done, mate...!

George...looks like you had fun...so here is the real question...did you sand the interior?

Turnerjohn74: its around an 1/8" to 3/16"

Greggas: the only reason i make the hole's so small is to not have to sand the interior's this one is 3/4". I use lemon oil
