this is a candle holder for a friend at work.
its about 4" tall by 1 3/4" wide.
the candle is a party lite tea light candle which measures 1 1/2" diameter by 1" tall.
the wood is oregon myrtlewood.
this project taught me to measure the candle before turning the hole for the candle[B)]. the first one that i turned wouldnt hold the candle and i had to start over cause the overall diameter would not let me make the hole bigger. in a way it was a welcome mistake cause i didn't like the shape of the first one.
