Forgot to put the Teleidoscope in the post...
This started out to be another Kaleidoscope too... was over at a friends house working on it with him.... but since we didn't finish it, took it back home and realized the marble would fit in the barrel and all I needed was a way to hold it in place... so I cut 3 more strips of my front face mirror, managed to drop one and I guess I'm in for my 7 years... it broke of course... so I had read about using two mirrors and a black strip of glass for the other side of the triangle... no glass, but had a very thing piece of wood that I could spray black and use that... worked great - except I got it a little off center and you can see wood in the eye piece... not too distracting though... this one is 8" overall length and 2 inches diameter with the keeper ring about 3 inches diameter. The barrel is Sassafras wood and the keeper is Walnut.
The marble isn't as clear as I would have liked and seems to have a few air bubbles in it, but it does work fairly well...
