Pressing in the tranny coupler, didn't take time to use the wooden block I NORMALLY use to protect the threads, anyone want to guess what happened next?

Was a little off center, and apparently a little is all you need when using a 1 ton arbor press to asemble pens. Smashed 1 side of the threads into oblivion. And of course, no spare parts for the copper cigar.
Oh well, needed to place a kit order anyway.

Hey Ron , I was able to save a couple of them with small needle nose pliers . CAREFULLY ! Worth a try ? Maybe you already have . Anyway , sorry that happened to you . My $.02
