I turned this Spalted Hackberry Bowl from a log that my good friend from Alabama (Keith Long) gave me a few months ago. It measures 8 inch by 3 inch and is finished with Minwax Wipe-On Poly. As always your comments are welcome.

I like the edge treatment on that bowl.

Kinda a subtle hint of decoration that doesnt detract from the grain pattern.

That is fantastic. I really want to learn to turn bowls but just haven't gotten up the courage to do so yet - not really sure where to start.

Very nice bowl Louis. You done that piece of ole bama wood proud. I have a few more pieces of it. Will have to see if I can turn one now.
