1. Yes, once in a while
2. Thin enough to do very very light coats
3. Long enough for it to dry, a few minutes? 10?
4. Weeks to months for a good cure before buffing it out

Do a search for Bristol acrylic finish. It's great stuff. You don't thin it, just use a wide nozzle, like a .5 mm will do. Back it out to a 2" fan. They have an exterior version of catalysed acrylic which is ultra duty and a 50 UV rating, or you can use the non catalysed finish which is a 5UV rating. I'd go non-catalysed. It will be fully cured the next day and nice and hard, ready to sand and buff, unless you are really good with that sprayer and then you might not even need to sand it. It has it's own sealer in the finish, and drops a 90 sheen right off the gun!

I have in the past. Wonderful looking finish and it's very easy to apply, but I don't like how much it softens in warm weather. I do like using the air brush.

2-How much does it need thined?

I don't thin it. Airbrush as is.

3-How long between coats?

Depends on temp and humidity, but usually 30 minutes to an hour.

4-How long do you let blanks cure be for putting kits together?

Again, depends on temp and humidity. Warmer dry air helps it dry quicker. For me, usually 3 to 7 days. It's still a little soft so be gentle. I wait at least 3 weeks and sometims up to 5 weeks before I turn it over to the customer.
